Mega DSC Notification Issued To Fill 16,347 Teacher Posts In AP

Amaravati: Keeping its pre-poll promise, the TDP-led NDA coalition in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday released the mega District Selection Committee (DSC) notification -2025 for recruitment of 16,347 vacant posts of teachers coinciding with the celebration of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s 75th birthday.

The applications from eligible candidates, the age for which was recently raised to 44 years, will be accepted online from the date of notification with immediate effect to May 15. The details regarding the recruitment process, district-wise vacant posts, syllabus, helpline numbers and other relevant information with the timelines have been placed on the websites of the School Education Department.

While the School assistants (SAs) will get a pay scale of Rs 28,940 - 78,910, the secondary grade teachers (SGTs) will have a basic pay range of Rs 34,000 to Rs 44,000. The gross salary of SAs will be in the range from Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000, and the SGTs are entitled for additional allowances like DA, HRA and special allowances. Officials said they will fill 13,192 posts in government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad and municipal schools along with 52 principal, 273 PGT and 1718 TGT posts. The written test will be conducted within 45 days after issuing the notification. The primary key will be issued as and when the exams are conducted.
